Remus Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 Hey guys, started the shee after a strip and paint, everything is running great and my new dmc's are running havoc, only problem is that my one carb is leaking on the overflow, even after closing the tank tap it still keeps dripping out, any pointers? SAVAGE420 Posted July 12, 2012 Report Posted July 12, 2012 Factory spec for the 26mm Mikuni carbs is 21mm without the gasket. Check the needle valve/seat while the bowls are off for wear as well. But first before you pull the bowls off. Whack the sides of the bowls with the handle of a screw driver first, and if they are sticky, that will free them up. Sometimes they just bind up with gunk outa the blue. Lightly bend the "tang" to adjust height. Quote
