BLOODRAGE Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 ok i looked and didnt see anything about what tires you guys use, besides sand tires.i use maxis razers on the rears and i cant really say i like them.they were new when i bought them but with the ss set up they dont have much grip.i need a good set of tires that grip with less slip.when my gf is riding with me and when the powerband kicks in its like hitting nos, wish it was like that without her on the back lol,she complains about falling off and she trys to take me with her.feels like i have a monkey on my back lol. so what type of tires u using and how much hp do you have? and how do you like em is the question Quote
mike0chek Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 holeshots worked the best out of the tires i have ran on my shee, bearclaws are nice for hill climbs but pretty heavy tire, i was runnin a 421 stroked cub with stock swinger Quote

BLOODRAGE Posted June 9, 2012 Author Report Posted June 9, 2012 i did have the bear claws on a blaster before i sold it for the banshee,i liked them but they dont come in 20's on a 9in rim. the terrain is mostly gravel and mud i guess Quote
boost_it638 Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 i just bought some kenda knarly's for the rears, awsome tire so far. cant beat the price of them either. Quote
blubyyou Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 I personally have had great success with my kenda cutter xc's. Seem to hook pretty good out in the trails. Mostly dirt and rocks around hear. Quote
Buckwheat Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 GBC X-REX on mine. They hook good. Stock with pipes, V-Force reeds, cool head 21 cc. Quote
Trick2stroke Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 Tires can only do so much, the banshee is really front heavy, when your gf is on the back it shifts the weight to the rear. The best traction mod you can do is a -1 or -2 swing arm to get the banshee balanced out and hook. Quote
BLOODRAGE Posted June 10, 2012 Author Report Posted June 10, 2012 well that sux.id hate to get rid of my +4 swing arm Quote

BLOODRAGE Posted June 10, 2012 Author Report Posted June 10, 2012 lol once i seen a set of agressive looking tires on ebay, after they ended i cant seem to find them.i think they were called vipers or some shit cant remember. Quote
shanYE west Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 go with a bigger tire.. try a 22" rather then 20". youll get a larger footprint and that means more traction. Quote
BLOODRAGE Posted June 10, 2012 Author Report Posted June 10, 2012 i noticed there was more tire flavours for 22's then 20's 22's might look good with the +4 swing arm but i dont know Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 Do you want to go fast or look pretty? Gotta get those priorities straight. Quote
