zach45 Posted June 5, 2012 Report Posted June 5, 2012 any tricks on how to pop the old ones out? thanks Quote
sheerider11 Posted June 5, 2012 Report Posted June 5, 2012 How I used to do it on my bike was just stick the spindle in just past the bearing and turn the wheel in a snapping motion and it can pop it lose or turn it sideways and makes it easy to get out. Quote
DirtDiggler69 Posted June 5, 2012 Report Posted June 5, 2012 Soak the hub in Penetrating oil , and use a 3/8" socket extension to drive them out Quote
erickson483 Posted June 5, 2012 Report Posted June 5, 2012 I had luck with map gas and a 3/8" socket extension with a BFH. Quote

erickson483 Posted June 5, 2012 Report Posted June 5, 2012 Make sure to heat the hub and not the bearing. I'm sure you know that but just want to make sure. Quote
