switched to methanol won't start

I have a 10 mil cub and just bought new Lectron 40's for alky...won't start everything looks good but won't start

Just pulled the plugs and got no spark.....I also replaced my stock throttle with a Moose racing piece. could that be the issue elctrically

if the tors box is still plugged in next to the coil under the tank than yes.

No I unplugged that when I went to 38 lectrons......haven't done anything but changed the timing to +8 and switch to 40 lectrons and changes the throttle piece. Also tried new plugs to no avail. The gap at the flywheel is set at 16 is that good?

the gap needs to be .018-.019 and the spark plugs need to be at .019

gap is at 19 still no spark.

try wiggling the pugs from the stator to the harness since you was messing around in that area when swapping carbs

Jay did you put on a new coil, can't remember if you changed it. Make sure you change your plugs to a b9egv before you run it.

I do that quite a bit on the methanol bikes. Splash the filters, hold throttle wide open and suck that gas vapors in and it fires up with a kick or two.
