Has anyone every used one of the complete bolt and nut kits to put together a engine. I am building a 4mil and am wanting to replace all the studs etc in the engine. Any reviews or feedback on them?

I've used the entire "ALLOY BOLTS" kit from Ebay. Worked very well. You might choose not to use a few of the fasteners...but overall, I do the full stainless bolt kit on every bike.

If you are going to replace studs in the cases heat that case up to 200* in the oven. You are going to be breaking studs and they are a bitch to drill out.

I had looked at Alloy Boltz and they were the reason I asked about the kits. I also decided that I am going to just try and clean up the cylinder and case studs and not replace them because it seesm everyone here has had a hell of a time getting them out.

Good call.

Keep the original case studs, but use the Alloy Bolts kit for the rest of the build.

You might find that the brake rotor bolts won't work and a few others here and there at your choice...but it's well worth switching the ones you can use over to the stainless.

Just go buy a nice set of metric T-handle allens.

What antiseize do u guys recommend?

Ask Alfie. He had great luck with his bolts. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Permatex 31163 copper. Comes in a little bottle/jar thing with a brush. It's a bitch to wash it off your skin, but works awesome. I use it on every bolt on my boat, keeps them from rusting inside the hole.
