Hello all,

I just pulled my banshee out of storage and am trying to get it to run. It ran the last time I used it (last year) but now it doesn't. I can get it to run for about 10-15 seconds if I use a small amount of starter fluid, but it quickly dies. I know the fuel was old so I emptied what was in the tank and mixed up a fresh batch, that didn't change anything.

It's basically stock except for some pipes, an adjustable timing plate, and a TORS eliminator kit.

Thoughts?

Ok, cleaned up the carbs and tried again... success! Now I noticed that it doesn't want to idle with the choke pushed all the way in, and idles high when the choke is pulled all the way out.

make sure your pilot jets are spotless. Blow compressed air through them to make sure. See if it idles after you do this. If not. try setting the idle on your carbs. It should idle faster with the choke....it basically richens the fuel mixture for starting.
