88SMILEY Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 I've had terrible luck with second gear. Any suggestions on a trail tranny? Quote
special06shee Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 trial tranny?? a stock good working trans is a good "trail tranny". if you are having a problem with 2nd, break the bottom end down and make sure everything is straight and in good working order, shift shaft, shift forks, gears, ect and esscentric screw is in proper adjustment.. if all is good put an upgaded shift star on and you should be go to go for a "trail tranny".. most likly if you have an older shee there is something bent or broke.. good luck! BigRed350x Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 I can modify your transmission for you. Send me a PM and we can see if I can help ya out. I've done quite a few of them for members here on the board. I'm running my transmissions in a 485 cheetah, 465 10mil cub, 466 small-block twister, and about 6 different stock-stroke bikes with different setups. - Jared Quote
