Chip M Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 I got rebuild kits from FAST for a stock 96 Banshee carb. I am seeing a jet in the kit that I do not recognize being in my carb . I also bought new jets other than stock to replace the 200 main and 25 pilot that came with the kit but I have an extra jet in the kit that looks about like the pilot only a little different length but it has what looks like a 50 stamped on it. Am I not seeing where this goes in my carb or is it for a different application? I read through the manual and I see no reference to another jet. Thanks Quote
Jeremy_bell_banshee99 Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 Not sure if its same for banshee carbs bc i havent got a good chance to look, but on my bikes theres like an air jet in the back where the air goes into the carb, its in the very bottom cemter hole. Quote
Finch Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 i know nothing botu the kits but i did notice last time i rebuilt my carbs on the air filter side there is a lil jet by the air fuel mixture that sparked my curiosty looks like a pilot but ya havnt be able to find any info on it maybe its that? i couldnt read the numbers on it Quote
Jereme6655 Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 either look at the exploded views in the manuals or look at www.cheapcycleparts.com and their OEM parts finder has the exploded view of the entire bike Quote
