zach45 Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 So you want to buy a clear clutch cover, but wanna know if you can use your stock one? Quote
ginger Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 have you ever pulled the plastic piece off the stock cover? its solid behind it. Quote
willardwright59 Posted February 6, 2012 Author Report Posted February 6, 2012 have you ever pulled the plastic piece off the stock cover? its solid behind it. They make that plastic insert and o ring so you can cut a hole there and be able to tune your clutch easier. I just want the insert piece seen on trinitys site. Not the full thing Quote

DallasGDub Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 I think that is around $150, and you still have to mod your stock cover. I will also add from personal experience, that the trinity cover is super thin and dents really easily. Mattoon sells the clear lockup cover already modded and ready for you for around $195. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BANSHEE-CLUTCH-LOCK-UP-COVER-BANSHEE-QUICK-CHANGE-MFG-Mattoon-Machine-/220921597050?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item336ff40c7a Quote

DallasGDub Posted February 7, 2012 Report Posted February 7, 2012 No worries, you do not need a lockup if you are just using the cover for looks. However, the cover is required with the lockup b/c of the size of it. Quote

Zillaguy Posted August 27, 2013 Report Posted August 27, 2013 Your stock cover can be modified to fit a lock out cover on it.... I think Mattoon makes a kit that adapts to the stock cover... Quote
