i bought a set of cheap ims steelies to run for ice oval this winter.. made it a half a day on them and sheared the entire center out of the wheel and it went skootin bout a half mile acrossed the lake .. anyone else ever have a problem with ims stuff like that?? this was the first time i ever used these wheels..

Looks like you might have egged out the bolt holes. Happened to me in the early days when I had nylon spacers at the rear. The bolt holes egged out badly, no matter how much I tightened the nuts.

 

Still looks like a quality problem, regardless.

I would contact the wheel manufacturer and show them the pics and see if they can do anything to help you. Maybe get a set of wheels out of the deal...

Thanks. Ya I'm calling them tomorrow. This is the first and last time I buy wheels from them. It was definatly a puckered moment when I slammed the corner at 50+ mph on the ice and I saw my tire pass me up lol

idk yet. i cant seem to find any info on contacting ims on there website. im going to call parts unlmtd. tuesday to see if they can help me out..
