BAMF87 Posted December 25, 2011 Report Posted December 25, 2011 I just got some chariot reeds and my banshee has stock reeds with reed spacers. When installing the new reeds should I ditch the the spacers or install them with the chariot reeds? Quote
HIDEF Posted December 25, 2011 Report Posted December 25, 2011 My .02 is to leave them off unless there is a clearance issue of some sort. Quote
BAMF87 Posted December 25, 2011 Author Report Posted December 25, 2011 Ok ran into an issue I had to use the spacers in between the reeds and intake instead of by the cylinders because the chariots have thin piece of metal in the center of then and my stock rubber intake boots won't go inside I'll post pics later Quote
andrew3160 Posted December 26, 2011 Report Posted December 26, 2011 Just cut that rubber lip off that sticks out of the intake boot. That's what you have to do to run V Force 3's. Problem solved! Quote
BAMF87 Posted December 26, 2011 Author Report Posted December 26, 2011 Ok thanks I'll cut that off am ditch the spacers Quote
andrew3160 Posted December 26, 2011 Report Posted December 26, 2011 Just be careful to only cut the rubber that sticks out, nothing else. Keep in mind you still need a flat seal there. Quote
