im kinda new with this site but it sounds like yall know yalls shit with banshee's. so i got a 99 banshee and iv just swaped frams bike ran great befor but now that ist all togather im haven sparking problems. at 1st the bike had no spark so i took it to a shop and had it checked out they said they fixed it and put a stater in it, but when i got it started at my house it did fine at 1st a little sputering at 1st but just figured cause it set so long? well i noticed the lights wernt shining bright when at idle. thought maybe the wire was shorting out or something simple so i shut it of to take a look noticed nothing wrong went to start it again and i had no spark gave up for the night next morning tryed to kick it and i had spark fired it up let it idle for a sec and it died. kicked it to restart it and nothing once again i lost my spark. basicly it seems when it is warm if it dies i wont have spark tell it cools off like an hour laiter. can someone pleas help me this thing was a blast.

have you checked to make sure theres no rust on the metal tabs on the flywheel for the pick up coil. also check the pick up coil gap it should be 0.015"-0.20" or about the thickness of a matchbook cover.also make sure theres no rust between the ing coil and where it mounts to the frame. i dont know if you have read the ( Banshee Electrical FAQ ) yet but it helped me out tremendously.

Did they put a dicky stator in it? Sounds like a stator that is going bad or is. Factory stator. Expensive but worth it to not have the issues
