hi i have a 1997 shee with bigger front sproket my stock carbs are jetted, nd i have toomey t5s nd k&n filters.......was wondering what are some more minor things tht i can do to increase performance i do a lil bit of drag racing wur i live nd im ok where im standing now i havent been really beating by anyone nd i race yfz450,kfx45os etc i guess my riding skill is better then thers but i could use sum help/professional tips im about to also put bigger carbs on my shee this week either 34 or 35s nd my mechanic also told me to get the vitos super piston kit for a lil more umph but plz u guys imput will be helpful

Save the money you'd spend on the carbs and put it towards some port work on your cylinders. A couple of cheap mods would be milling your head and advancing your timing. I'd suggest hitting up Kevin at HJR (site sponsor) for your porting needs.

Huge carbs on a basically stock bike are going to kill your bottom end. For around $150 more you could port your cylinders and gain far more power then what you would gain from the carbs and vito's pistons. Btw, chill with the caps lock....I don't like being yelled at. Lol

I think post written like those are an immediate indicator of age, most of the time. I see the texts that my kids & their friends exchange and believe speed is more important than spelling. It's almost as if they have a new form of English that requires as little effort as possible. But, mine have learned to spell properly when they text me or I will ignore them. I would hope that an adult would at least have enough self respect to put effort into their spelling.

 

That said, it is funny though, thinking of someone who spells like that working on something mechanical, & imagining their attention to detail...

You could try stronger clutch springs, speed shifting eleminating weight and adjusting your jets and needle and practice your launch siting way back on the seat. Banshees have traction issues.
