06specialedition Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 I've heard good things about the Tusk clutch or the one Fast carries Quote
camatv Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 good clutch set up with No locker.. mattoon billet basket, driveline HD clutch.. can add the 8th plate easily and driveline has a kit for this. add lockup to above for great budget drag clutch. budget doesnt matter? hinson spring loaded bilet basket with straight cut gears. drivelien HD clutch and lockup if needed. ultimate is to add the hinson boss and pressure plate as well. and of course all the above will require a bearing clutch pusher. want to keep the stock cover?? add a gigot undercover slingshot locker.. instead of aftermarket cover and std locker.. I too am about to buy a serval 421cc 4ml is this setup good and are they a good reputable seller ? Banshee 421cc 68mm 4mm 4 Mil Ported Serval Cub Hotrods Crank Billet Head Domes http://www.ebay.com/...=item415ec00a15 or is this setup better http://www.mmatvonli...9dfdb0d8656b672 is your clutch setup all that i need ? is the clutch light on your hand or does it make it heavy, what is the difference between a luck up and the Hanson which is better ? 05stroker Posted November 4, 2011 Report Posted November 4, 2011 I had a FAST heavy duty clutch kit, 6 heavy springs, and the billet basket from FAST on my Serval. It never slipped. A lock-up is not really needed unless you just can't handle the heavier springs. Quote
