SNT Posted September 19, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 19, 2011 Decide how long you want them to be. Are you riding woods mostly or MX? A good general width would be 47" wide at the outside of the front tires. If you only ride trails you might want to make it more like 46". Look at 250R long travel a-arms from the different manufacturers and get some ideas. 18.25" is a long shock. I dont know if you want to build a gull wing style arm or straight arms. i want the front width to be 50" tire to tire. i wanna use a gull wing arm.. should i move the upper shock mount into the centure of the quad?
