Hello, I am new in this forum and I am searching for my first banshee. My parent have a honda atc big red and a kawasaki klf 4x4 bayou but after a while it's boring to ride this. so I decided to buy a banshee.

I saw this deal and I would like to know if it seem to be a good price for a 2006 special edition? What I am suppose to check before buying this?

why it's called SE? Is it different on the original?

check this link and let me know what you think about the price:

First of all welcome to Banshee HQ. You will find a vast amount of knowledge about banshee here. Give the search function a try, it isn't perfect but can be your best friend.

If they are asking $4000 for what looks like a stock Banshee run away! Much better deals can be found on this site or your local Craigslist.

Tell us more about yourself (location, age and what type of riding you want to do) and we will help you as much as we can.

Welcome!

Welcome to BansheeHQ!

That looks like a LE "Limited Edition". Black plastics...black frame...I think thats about it. If you look at my signature pic below, mine is a 2006 SE "Special Edition". Mostly just different plastics and what not.

Yeah, 4K is a little steep IMO for that. Depending on your location you should be able to find better deals around.

Welcome! Expensive. I can see the appeal in buying a bone stock quad. Especially if its in mint mint condition. But if you plan on beatin the shit out of it and puttin on all kinds of mods on, shop around.

thankk you everybody for your comments, that help me a lot. Im from the Maine, sorry for my english im in the border of Québec. I will keep searching in my local craiglist and on this forum for better deal. I dont search a banshee with a lot of upgrade but on who look stock and clean. I think if people modify a lot the banshee, they do race and beat it. I will use this atv on wood trail only. I will let you know and post pictures when the banshee will be home :). Another question, is two stroke banshee run great in winter when it's very cold outside?

thank you for your help!

to answer your question julien.....yes they CAN run good in very cold weather.....HOWEVER....you must change your carbeurator jetting in order to keep enough fuel running to your engine (which in a 2stroke is also your lubrication) or else it will cause your pistons to melt.

if you bought any one of these bikes you could do a top and bottom end and still get it cheaper than if you bought from that dealership

Lots of great deals out there. One of them even has the rebuilt kit for you.

Forget the dealer, these bikes are much better!
