on my 421 cub two weekends in a row my chain snapped in now the second time it was not the master link it was in the middle of chain ! i think but not sure i have currently a o ring chain ! what chain i need ? and why is chain snapping ? Thanks

buy a new one and keep it lubed and see if it still breaks. mine broke last year and a buddy told me that on a bike that pulls like a shee you need to keep it well lubed.

there's a few things that can be the cause of snapping chains.......blown out swing arm bearings allowing the swing arm to move from left to right.......mis-adjusted chain.....cheap garbage chains.....no guard and you hit a rock....

What type of chain you runing? only 2 real chain companies..

I dont agree with that.. there is other quality chains other then RK and DID... Its nothing more then his opinon and promotional marketing IMO.

I agree.. check out other componets.. carrier bearings and bad sprockets can prematurely wear chains and cause them to break.

I'm pretty sure you wont find any other chain on any real high horespower machines besides regina. I've talked to numerous people who buy chains frequently, and as far as durability and not stretching it is only 1....REGINA CHAIN!!
