....right after I switched to caster 927 32:1 from cheapy kawi oil at 32:1. It's been running so freaking good but today after I put the caster in it it got to where it wouldn't rev out or pull on the midrange. It just sort of spits and sputters and when it does rev out it's only on one cylinder. I thought it was the tors so I unplugged it but no luck.

Would switching to a better oil make it run richer at the same ratio for some reason?

Oh, I put two new plugs in it also.

im not a banshee pro, but i can tell you that i run klotz oil 32:1 and i have no problems, very good oil. runs about 11-13$ in PA atleast. what you could do is rise your clip up a notch on your needle. should help.

927 is good, but going from 1 premix to another can effect jetting. 927 can get gummy and slimy compared to others. Klotz Super is the good stuff.

definitly, the best situation is to clean out your carb bowls and rise the clips up one notch and see how it runs, if its better but still not as hard running as the cheap oil, id go one more notch. but probabily dont want to jump 2 notches at first, it could lean it way out and blow up

The plugs were fouled but I put new ones in it and no help. Another thing is the tank was half full with cheap oil when I put the Caster oil in. Maybe some pod filters would give it more air, or maybe no air filters at all :)

no filters will blow ur motor so fast! id rise the clip and turn the air screws out some.that will help alot

I either read it on here or another site as to different oils reacting with each other. Try draining the tank and fill it with only castor and gas before you go messing with other shit. If it ran fine before why would you be needing to fuck with the tune?

JMHO, your results may , and will vary

You definetely should have drained the tank when you switched oil. Some oils won't mix with other oils and they turn everything to a gooey mess. I would drain the tank and make sure there is no residue in there. Then completely tear apart your carbs one at a time and clean them very good, blow out ALL the passages and jets with compressed air. Reassemble, install, fill with the new mix, and then make sure yourcarbs are synced, the idle speed and mixture is set and do a plug chop to check your jetting.
