woodsracer56 Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 i just got a 1998 yamaha banshee about 4 weeks ago, ive been re-jeting it and have my perfect setup thanks to the help of the guys on bansheehq. i put new 16/40 gears on it with a new lsr hub and axle on it and was riding it yesterday and was hearing s "tic" sound coming from in by the fly wheel, so i took it apart and it seemed to be just fine, so i adjusted my timind to +5 so i went up 1 degree. and the tic went away. is +5 going to be too much? and any idea of what would make a sound in by my flywheel? thanks. woodsracer56 Posted July 27, 2011 Author Report Posted July 27, 2011 What octane are you running? 98 octane with a 32:1 ratio using klotz racing oil Quote
BrockMoto Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 Not sure on the "tic" but I run 95 with +4 so your probably ok with +5.... Im no builder tho Quote
