yea its stock for sure. been putting on little things every pay check.. bought the grips, heel guards, exhaust hanger that one just recently broke, new sprockets and chain.. so yea.. i ride open trails..not woods.. and i like racing on the pavement.. i have had a problem when i first start it up it doesnt want to idle and it was backfiring from the right pipe today when i put on the hangers.. i do know i definately need a new air filter and to reclean my carbs so im sure thats the problem

First thing I'd recommend you do is pick up a Clymer manual. It covers everything and is a great tool when something's going wrong or even just general maintenance.

 

Then pipe and jet it. You'll love how it wakes up compared to stock. Welcome to the addiction

Oh I've been addicted to banshees since growing up in Puerto rico..that's all we rode but now I have one and was wandering about that idle ...although im buying that clymer manual

Nice! I like the black.

 

Like said above, sky is the limit. I would start with all your basic bolt ons like pipes, filters, cool head, timing, reeds, etc.

That will help in a performance aspect, what about visuals?

are you going to cut the fenders? I know everybody does it, but i personally like the look of it, and the "all black" deal would look sick!

Good looking bike in person too...feels like i got most of the kinks outta mine this weekend. The T5's are perfect for our riding not much in the way of tight trails...

If it were me I'd leave the plastic alone. I'm not a terribly big fan of cut fenders although on some color schemes the cut look seems to look better. But, if I had a chance to have one as stock as that one I'd leave it that way. I'm just a sucker for a nice looking stock 'shee I guess.
