snackpac Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Hello all long time lurker, long time quad rider, kinda new to shee's just statred putting this shee back together, but there seems to be a problem with the clutch, at first i thought the cable was just stretched out, so i bought a new one. Well now the new one came in the mail and I still have the same problem. The problem is that there is not much tension when you pull the clutch lever, it moves a little but not much kinda like the spring is worn out, is this possible? So when i am comeing to a stop after a ride and the clutch is fully pulled it pretty much dies as if the clutch is not fully engaged. So my question is does this spring wear out, the bike is a 96, if so is it hard to replace or do i have to remove the clutch cover and repair something from the inside. Thanks for any help you can give. Quote
