banshee_kills Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Okay so i took my banshee to get the carbs cleaned, and the guy told me that it needed clutch work, but i havent gotten the clutch work, so i try to bust a wheelie but can't, is it cause i need the new clutch ? or what is it? needs new top end? also i dont feel it as strong Quote
gotta_goatsfast Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 ....I feel dumb for even stating it (because it is fairly obvious) your clutch is slipping? Just a wild, outragious guess. Time to repack your clutch with new frictions and steels. Maybe upgrade your clutch springs. And definatly pick up a pancake bearing. Quote

Larry's Shee Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 (edited) Are you sure you're not spinning the tires when you try? Is your clutch adjusted properly? Your "guy" wouldn't be the first to steer someone wrong just to get some work . How much did your carb clean cost? For the price of a Clymers repair manual there is nothing you can't do on a Banshee, except boreing BTW, Welcome to BHQ !! Nice looking ride you got Edited July 1, 2011 by Larry's Shee Quote
