Nah, it's not bent.

It's angled, arced, arched, arciform, bowed, contorted, crooked, curvilinear, doubled over, drooping, droopy, hooked, humped, hunched, inclined, limp, looped, round, rounded, sinuous, slouchy, slumped, stooped, twined, twisted, warped and wilted.

But it's not bent.

that looks like my frame, mines got some funky bends in it that i cant figure out if theyre supposed to be there or not. also when i look from behind it looks like either my frame or swingarm is bent, but it tracks pretty straight, it could be my eyes playying tricks on me, idk lol

Put the bike up on a stand so all the wheels are up off the ground. Take off all 4 wheels and make 4 measurements. One from each of the top of the ball joints on each side to the end of your axle then one from each of the bottom of the ball joints on each side to the end of the axle. Try to measure as close as possible from the same locations on each side. Compair left and rigth side measirements to see how bad it is. You can also run a straight edge off the back tire to see where it meets at the front on each side tho not as accurate, but will show if the whole front end is pushed over to one side. I was fortunate enough to be able to do these checks first before I bought a banshee that I thought might have a bent frame but I know its not always possible to do. Finding this out after you buy it really bites but maby you will find out its not that bad. Hope this helps, good luck.

i can see that ist bent. looks like it hit a tree or post or something at some time.. measureing it will just show you how bad it is.

look for a good frame i sell frames locally adn when i have a good one they usually bring 250-300 depending on condition. craigslist is a good way to find one. you just need to look at it closely before you buy it.

I did measure from the top ball joints to the axle on both sides and came up with a difference of half a inch, also tried with a straight edge and came up with the same difference... so i think that is why the right side front wheel is off, the guy before me probably had it that way to make it go straight???

So is half a inch that bad, could it still drive fairly good or should i just junk it and look for another frame??

Well at this point, put your motor together and ride the bitch, start looking for a frame, and do a build this winter.

How did it ride? What made you decide to stand it up to look at it?

If you're in no hurry should be able to find one at the right price. Maybe even put a wanted on CL and watch for one on here that's local to you.
