reckless_Josh Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 Well first off my name is josh and have been here all day looking up stuff to this banshee I got out of a barn! anyways I did find how to see what year it was by the vin number so it's an 89! ok don't know much about them but this thing is torn apart and I have no clue to what size motor is in it?? Is there a standard size for that year or?? Quote
midlifecrisis Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 Welcome bro! All year banshees are 350s to start off with. Once you get the bug, youll be upping the ccs and power. Yours is a j arm model if its an 89. A few different plugs, hub stud configurations etc.....but youlll get the hang of it. Quote
Jereme6655 Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 post up some pictures and we may be able to help you figure out how things can go back together. and buy yourself a CLYMERS manual for it.....its like the banshee bible..... Quote
reckless_Josh Posted May 17, 2011 Author Report Posted May 17, 2011 This is all I have i'm sure i'm missing a ton of stuff and I can see the motor is blown up! one rod is missing but turns over fine and still has oil in it. So thats good! oh and I have no bolt's, nut's or springs.. Quote
