NickisGod Posted April 28, 2011 Report Posted April 28, 2011 well i asked for mint cases, pay for mint cases and i get these. can this be milled and or filled down. im sending my engine to fast i dont feel like him telling me these arnt gunna work. Quote
Coupelx Posted April 28, 2011 Report Posted April 28, 2011 man thats shitty. i would think you could clean it up a bit and run it without any problems if there isnt any cracks. Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted April 28, 2011 Report Posted April 28, 2011 Runnable if you can seal it. Looks decent enough from the pics though. Quote
BigRed350x Posted April 28, 2011 Report Posted April 28, 2011 I've run them in a lot worse shape than that. Those don't look that bad. I would just get some sand-paper and clean up the inside of the cylinder wall and get a machinists flat-edge and check the deck of the cases. If the deck isn't flat I would get a refund since its a sealing surface. If the deck is good, run em! Quote
NickisGod Posted April 28, 2011 Author Report Posted April 28, 2011 i asked jeff at fast whos gunna be doin the motor about this "Definetly NOT mint but I can prolly work with them. Ugh some people huh?!! : (" i bought them from performance prototypes, idk wat to say Quote
official_style Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Did u pay with a credit card? I would dispute the charge. If ur gonna build a motor and paid for mint cases I wouldn't accept that bullshit. If u paid in person grab a few of ur boys and go to where u bought them from and tell them different cases money back or time to knuckle up. Quote
