Ran a 8.5 1/8 at the track today. my setup is 36 mm keihn vforce 3 reeds stock stroke heads ported 65 pistons opposite side pipes from trinity and slicks also no wheelie bar I know that would have helped me. anyone with experience know how good that is with the mods I have.

those are good numbers but you can get them lower by lunching a lil harder what is you reaction time?

reaction time has 0 effect on ET maybe you meant to say 60ft times...

R/T -004 60ft 1.909 330 5.455 1/8 8.559 mph 77.06 that is what slip reads it is hard to launch because of no wheelie bar.

What gearing are you running and tire size? Are you just getting into 6th gear before the 1/8th?

I am geared for the 1/4 but 60fts are low 1.5s and 1/8 times are in the high 6s or low 7s depending on launch,my mph is in the mid 90s and 104 at the end of the 1/4,took me many many passes to get there and money, stop fuckin around and get a bar and trust it

override will help you out a ton. i wouldn't own a bike with out one. Just put a six speed in it and be done. You can get the 60's down with no bar. Just have to practice. I've gone low 1.5's with no bar but have one just because its easier and I just go...LOL

15/41 would be a start. If you don't have 6th gear topped out with that, go up a tooth at a time on the back until your maxxed out in 6th at the traps.
