Phazernut Posted July 24, 2011 Report Posted July 24, 2011 I have a tail light from a Yamaha FX Nytro sled that I'm planning to mount. Previous owner removed the tail light completely. Just need to fab up a mounting bracket. Quote
monkeybrains04 Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 I know this is an old post, but how have the led tail/brake lights held up? Also is a dc conversion required or can the led light be ran off the ac. Quote
hoppedupandcutdown Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 I've ran a LED taillight off AC forever, no brake light though. Quote
Vitalik Posted May 30, 2014 Report Posted May 30, 2014 You can use almost any LED product with your stock setup, with the exception of high-power LED's. Hey so I bought lights off eBay there front headlights and there dcs can I use them on my banshee?! Or do I need acs plz let me kno thanks High power LED's require a very specific input voltage. Usually within a range of 1/2 of a volt. Obviously you've watched your stock lights dim at idle, and get super bright at full throttle. The reason for this is halogen and incandescent bulbs will operate on just about any voltage, up to a certain voltage. I've never run a 450 rear light, but I have tested numerous LED products on a Banshee electrical system, and think it will work just fine. Quote
