I didnt realize that Banshee Jet Kits were so dang expensive, so I am hoping to find a few suggestions or guesstimates of a ballpark figure of the proper jets to use in my 1988 Banshee that has a port job and .020 overbore by Passion Racing. Also, will be installing stock carbs on it that were bored out to 28mm in addition to running FMF Fatty pipes and silencers. The land elevation of my location of which I will be ridding is 500 - 1000 feet above sea level.

With this information provided, would anyone be able to provide me a ballpark idea of what jets to run? I just cannot beleive how expensive jet kits for the Banshee are!! Or maybe I have just been out of the ATV game for so long that either prices went up, or I just forgotten the actual prices of kits. But anyways, I am looking to buy a few jets to experiment with , and with my mods, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or help.

THANKS!!!!!!! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Call Carb Parts Warehouse. No need to buy a jet "kit"... just get whatever jets you need. I'd start with 1 size up pilot and 290-310 mains. Set the clip in the 4th position from the top. Then plug chop.

You didn't mention air cleaner set-up. I would start at 330-310, 27.5 pilot. Is this a new set-up or adding to it? See what your pilot is before buying one. Maybe even start at 340, jets and plugs are cheaper than pistons.

JMHO, your results may vary.

toomey needles really help out they run about 25 each and the toomey jet "Kit" is like 60 bucks. but yea 280-340 main is what you will be in range wise. the jet "kits" out there usually dont even have that big of a main.

once you are out of the stock realm its all about needing to understand jetting, OR get someone that actually knows whats up and have them help you. carb synch is extremely important also.
