I got a quote to get the cylinders bored and ported by a reputable guy for 760 out the door, pistons,gaskets, etc.. I also see a vitos big bore kit going for around 900. So my question really is, Is it worth it just to go to a big bore kit? Im currently running FMF fattys and PC2 silencers, w/ stock carbs. Im guessing at least the carbs will have to be changed out too.. Any opinions? Quote

To be honest id go with the bore and the port job from a REPUTABLE builder......id suggest Jeff at FAST or Kevin at HJR. Vitos parts are kinda hit or miss around here on the sight....some don't care for them and some think they're decent. I do know that a reputable builder like Jeff or Kevin WILL be able to get equal if not more power out of a port job than the big bore kit will offer. Plus they will port your cylinders based on what kind of riding YOU want to do and what mods you have or plan on getting. Quote
