alright guys i have a 00 banshee all it has is t6 pipes vito pistons and summer time lid off air box and when i pulled the carbs off it has a 310 main jet

 

i live in middle of wisconsin....

 

now my buddy just bought a 95 its a 420 stroker no air box two filters reeds um...procirt pipes

 

now he rejeted to the summer and the guy he bought it from said for summer to put like i belive it was a 220 or 240 in somone were in there

 

now my qustion is why is my main so big and dont have close to what he has done engine wise

 

and my engine aint running super rich runs good...just wondering whats up with this? thanks

I assumed you had yours tuned. If this is true, going down in size will lean out your motor. If not, do a plug chop and start tuning. Also, just because his pulls real hard does not mean its boarderline lean. Unfortunatly rich symptoms are usually easier and make themselves obvious. A lean engine will rev high and be "zingy". So, I'm not ready to rule out that its not on the lean side.
