Is this Banshee worth the money?

A friend of mine is looking at a 2000 Banshee in good condition...The guy is asking $1800 for it and since I ride a 660 Raptor I know nothing about the Banshee's and was wondering what you guys thought. I also wanted to know if there are any known problem to look out for with the 2000 Banshee's.

Any possibility of posting a linc? That or give a complete description of it. Other than a few changes ALL Banshees are virtually unchanged for 23 years.

The value of a Banshee usually comes with aftermarket ad ons like exhaust, a arms, chrome and motor work. The details of what it has would be very helpfull.

 

Another good test would be to see how much compression the motor has. Use the chart at the bottom of the page in the link and you will see where it should be.

 

A quick search of Craigslist and other sites will tell you what people are asking in your area so you can compare.

any running banshee that is not a rust bucket for under 2 grand is worth it imo...

If it runs its worth that much if its not ragged out and sorta clean. Look at the fluids/air filter to see if they where kept up. If all checks out, sell that clunker 660 (no offense lol) and add go fast goodies to the banshee.
