400sbc
I was wondering how to change the jet in 33mm keihin carbs cause i just bought the bike and the guy that i bought from gave me all the jet that i need which are 155 for summer, 160 for 0 to-10C and 165 for -10 to -20C, he told that there is not necessary to take out the carb? so how do we do it? any help will be appreciated thanks
Judge1
There is nut at the bottom of each carb. Unscrew, drain fuel and the main jet is right inside. They make a handy little tool to change jets with or you can get a small socket on there. Do not torque on these, hand snug is fine. Your jetting range is the same as mine. jbooker82
Yep that 17mm plug is nice. No more pulling off the float bowls to change a main jet out.

jbooker82
That is why I never understood why people would weld up the hole on the LH carb so the nut woudln't hit the clutch arm, when you could buy an intake that would raise the carbs.
