I proud to say i'm a new owner of a 2004 Banshee that I bought yesterday. It has a long list of goodies that was already done to the bike and made it an easy decision to make. First off the entire bike was clean as a whistle the only place I found dirt was the cross bar under the front of the motor case. No signs of wear from normal riding were your legs would rub the frame and even the kick was not worn down. So the engine mods that I know of is 10mill crank works crank, cub cylinders with a mild clean up port, cool head, cpi small bore pipes, cut tranny, new oem clutch with lockout, 35mm Keihn carbs and k&n filter pods. It has a 10 inch over swinger with I think 72inch rollout 11 paddle skats the gearing i think is 15 45 not 100% on that. The list goes on and on and all I paid for it was $3700 like I said earlier it was a easy decision. Before I get it out I plan on changing all fluids, check compression, pull the carbs and check the needle clip and the jets that are in it right now. Is there anything else you can think of that I need to check let me know. With all of the excitement right now I have the last thing I want is to rush into it and miss something. I have been on here reading the forums for awhile and I like the amount of info here and the nice people that respond to the countless threads that seem to be simillar. Hope to see everybody at St.Joe this May as I will be there for sure Jim.

Sorry for the small pic when I get it out I will get a better pic.

That's at my buddy's house he is trying his hand at making some custom frames. Right now him and his dad are just doing some mock up with cheap pipe. i'm sure he will chime in here shortly.

awesome find... def get some better pics up..

ANother thing i would personally do...

Is do a leak down test make sure there are no leaks anywhere that can cause a burn down...

For sure I didn't think of that thanks. Once I get the carbs off I will see what the jets are and probably ask you guys what you think.

I definately will get some pics up all I had at the time was my cell phone plus I had to goto work last night. Thanks for the compliments guy's I would have rather built it myself but I couldn't pass this up Jim.

nice bike jimmy i cant wait to see it run. your gonna love that 10mil. do you think you will ever ride that 400ex again lol :rotflmao:

Yeah Jr I will definately ride the 400ex I will have to have something for the woods and to jump at St.Joe. Now the amount of time on it will be less for sure because I will need alot of seat time on the 10mil Jim. :headbang:

Well there's another question I have he said that the tranny is cut. Well it only has 5 gears but in this sequence 1-N-2-3-4-5 and he said to use the clutch from 1st to 2nd but thats it the rest will shift right in. I will say that is what it does but I never heard of this and not sure why you would do it. I need some warm weather and a day off to really get on it come on spring Jim.
