yamahaman244 Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 hey guys my banshee is running bad rode it yesterday ran like a champ parked it in the garage and this moring go to ride it starts right up let it warm up go to take off wont rev so im like oo must fouled a plug or the tors are giving me problems............. so got new plugs same and deconected the tors same thing no better and did the parking break thing still the same...... cleaned airfilter i just dont know what to do it will rev but once u crack it open just bogs what could be wrong Quote
68chevyc10355 Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 First things to always check: Whats the compression? Did you do a leak down? Are the carbs clean/ getting plenty of fuel? Does the spark look strong? Also, did it seem crisp the whole time you were riding it yesterday or did it ever seem to hesitate abnormally? Quote
Larry's Shee Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 I watched your vid yesturday. Carbs might have been wet, then when the warm/hot engine was shut off moisture may have froze in jets/passages. Try warming it in garage or heater / heat lamp to thaw it out. or pull carbs and take them in house. Drain fuel before you take them in. Quote
