slktrik Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 I saw some post on doing some porting yourself on this site last year but not finding it now. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Quote
dirtydownunder Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 use this search to find porting threads, its better than the search on the top right. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search if it where a 4 stroke, yeh shaw give it a go. but its a 2 stroke and totally different so unless you have the slightest idea on what needs to be done, dont touch it. and get a pro to do it. A general cleanup port can be done at home no problem. Smooth out intake runners, remove casting flaws, sand and polish the exhaust port... It can be done at home. As for changing angles or port window heights... leave it to the pro's. Give kevin at HJR a call. He does some awesome port work. Very professional guy. Quote
