heater Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 So after removing the tores my throttle seems like it is real hard. After riding for 30 mins or so you have to take a break. Is there any other thumb throttles out there that are longer or do i have something wrong with my setup. Im thinking of getting like a modquad polished one but if its not longer then it wont do any good i dont think. Quote

Really clean simple way to customize your own. Check out the Before and after pics at the end http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=370765&highlight=wifes+thumb+throttle Quote
bigblockbanshee Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 Try lubing the cable and see what it does. Mine went together perfectly without cutting the springs and feels just like it did when it was stock. We had to cut nearly 3 coils out of the springs on my brother-in-law's 'shee to get the throttle to feel a bit better. It would give your forearm cramps to work the throttle. He also said it did helped a ton when he sprayed the cable with some WD-40. Quote
