gstaten24 Posted January 9, 2011 Report Posted January 9, 2011 im not sure if this is the right forum but i was thinking about putting a 421 cheetah cub on my bike with the 4 mil crank and i was wondering if i will be needing bigger carbs for the 421? Quote
wacko2000 Posted January 9, 2011 Report Posted January 9, 2011 It will run with smaller carbs such as the stockers but it wont run as well as lets say some 35's, the stockers will hold/choke the motor up a great deal. If you plan on a 421, do it the right way or don't do it at all Quote
jbirdshee Posted January 9, 2011 Report Posted January 9, 2011 The stockers work But not to the motors potential. It is a big difference going with bigger carbs on That motor. Quote
Pasi S. Posted January 9, 2011 Report Posted January 9, 2011 My friend has That motor with 34PJ´s on gas. He´s going to get some Keihin 39 PWK´s. I´m running 35PWK´s in my ported 3fitty stocker and it runs great. If I had the money for Taht motor I would get 39PWK´s. -Pasi S. Quote

Yup. Talk to the boys @ FAST and they will set you up with some 39's. And if you decide to go bigger in the future, they will work great for just about any application. P.S you WILL go bigger. period. Quote
