trusty2stroke Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 hey im new to the site and need some help with my banshee i just got. It has fmf pipes, ADA head, white brothers boost bottle, and i was told it was bored .30. what i need help with is it idles fine but when i try to give it some gas it just boggs really bad and dies. the bike was running decent before but then i adjusted the air mixture screw to adjust the idle and one i got it to idle correctly it started doing this. i also messed with what i think is called the tors. thats when it problem first started Quote
livealatimmy Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 If I'm not mistaken I think you can unplug your tors and if it revs up then your tors are bad... If I'm wrong please correct me Quote
trusty2stroke Posted December 29, 2010 Author Report Posted December 29, 2010 ill try that right now and let you know what happens Quote
Larry's Shee Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Tors "brain" box is left side just under gas tank, newer parking brake bs will do same thing. Quote
Wicked ATV Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Tors "brain" box is left side just under gas tank, newer parking brake bs will do same thing. X2 Like larry she said. both of them. But before you get disconnect happy try just pushing the sensor in your perch in the parking brake back in with your hand. It just might be trigger open causing to do. Common with a banshee. But if you get rid of all the TORS you'll be better off Quote
trusty2stroke Posted December 29, 2010 Author Report Posted December 29, 2010 hmm. i was looking at the parking brake today and it had a ziptie holding something togather. but the ziptie was really loose and the silver thing that says "parking brake" or somethin like that on it was really loose. trusty2stroke Posted December 29, 2010 Author Report Posted December 29, 2010 it was the parkin break. thanks a lot guys. now just gotta get the idle right Quote
badassbanshee479 Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 do your self a favor and buy a tors removal kit... alot easier to set idle and no electronics to mess upon ya down the road. Quote

If I'm correct to my memory you can actually just disconnect the trigger from the parking brake also and be done with it. Just fallow it goes behind the radiator. When you get some time and extra cash you can then get the T.O.R.S eliminator kit Like badassbanshee suggested. For now go have fun! Quote
