I just built my first banshee from a bare frame got the engine in and got it running but now its popping through the stator side pipe. Its got fmf knarly pipes and open air 6 inch k&n filters I installed 280 main jets and 25 pilot jets were in the carbs already and now it seams like the stator side cylinder isnt even fireing i checked and made sure that I had spark and both wires were sparking a nice big blue spark any help would be appreciated thanks

you have the choke tube in place between the carb? how about stepping up that pilot jet in the carbs to a 27.5. when i got my bike it had stock 25 pilots in it and had FMF fatties......thing would BARELY run on two cylinders until you got above 1/2 throttle........dropped in 27.5's and it woke the thing up and smoothed out my non-running cylinder issues

is it normal to have more smoke out of on side then other i just did cool head 20cc fmf fattys power core 2 fmf 270 main jets didnt mess with the poilt jet i dont even know were its located i also have 6in k&n no lid it runs great just my right side smoke a noticeable amount more any ideas thanx?

also is their one pilot in each carb? please forgive me if i sound dumb i just know nothing about carb

yes there is one pilot jet in each carb. If you take the float bowl off of your carb you should see a SMALL circle opening.....shine a flashlight down it and you should see a very small brass colored pilot jet. it requires a flat-head screwdriver to unscrew the pilot jet.

well found out what it was it was that the slides were in the wrong carbs I didnt know that there were windows in the carbs to look through but got it fixed thanks for giving me things to try
