I need some help with how the mounts are supposed to look on some oofs I know it mounts on your foot peg but mine is looking kinda weird and they are really close to my tires. post some pics of your mount set ups please!

no instructions i red neck my stuff all the time o would sen it back for a new pipes they screwed you

Its not uncommon to use a bent piece of flatbar to secure your pipes to your footpeg. Its also a good idea to put a piece of rubber between the pipe mount and peg or flatbar. That will cushion out unwanted vibration and not break the mounts. I suggest a trip to the hardware store. Hope this helps

also if they are some of the new ones out the same side where shearer put spacing in between the two pipe mounts for rubber, they will look like crap and not line up. A few buddys ran into this problem and sold them and bought some of the old style where they mount together rigid.

They are the newer ones, and they do look like crap. The angle is weird so there is a gap where the exhaust ports meet the pipes and they rub on the frame. That sucks! Oh well. Guess I'll jimmy rig it next weekend.

Make sure the flanges on the pipe are square on the the motor. If they are crooked they will never seal.

You may have to raise them up a little at the pegs to keep them off your tires and straight on the motor. Raising them will get them off the frame as well.

mine are low I have a 3/8 steel spacer,but im narrow in the rear so its not an issue,raise em up,I just made a bracket for cpis last weekend took about an hour and some 1/8 inch plate
