My right plug is tanish in the center while left one is more brownish. shee passed a leak down and has atleast 6 solid hours of riding time since. All the while its running great. Eventhough my jets are the same and air screws are synched, can the carbs be why(slides maybe)?

anyone ever have the plugs read different? Is it possible the carbs need to be jetted slightly different?

Ive heard of people staggering jets but have never had a need ,it was thought the intake runner on the clutch side is a lil longer from the stock box but many jetting days/tuning days have proven that wrong.Ohm out your plug caps /wires might not be jetting

Well I just discovered that half of the plug does match the other and half of it is way lighter on the white part in the middle. The plug really is brown on half in the middle and light tan on the other half wtf! Any thoughts? I haven't had the time to test ohms from the plug caps or anything yet.

If you have done a leakdown test and it passed, I would not worry about a slight variation. In the drag world, a lot of the top builders will tune each carb individually to get them spot on. If you have had porting work done, the chances of each side being ported exactly the same is pretty much nil. Now if there is a night and day difference, you got a problem.

I have the cross over tube on, my rad valves have mint carbon fiber reeds, and my carbs are only synched by looking down through the air box and adjusting till the eye sees em even....

are the carbs synced? have the cross over tube in there? are the reeds good?
