skeet34 Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 Can I use standard domes for a 66.5mm bore or do I need big bore domes to be safe? Quote
quikshee Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 Big bore domes are only required for 68mm bore and up, your standard domes will work fine. Quote
skeet34 Posted November 14, 2010 Author Report Posted November 14, 2010 (edited) Big bore domes are only required for 68mm bore and up, your standard domes will work fine. The head is a pro design. Does this matter? Prodesign standard domes are 64mm to 66mm and BB are 66mm to 68.5mm. Edited November 14, 2010 by skeet34 Quote

AKheathen Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 well, if you really want to know for sure, then just get out a caliper mic and measure inside the dome. if the edge of the squish is smaller than the bore, by .25mm or more, then you need big bores. Quote
