Balzout Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 Two parts to my question guys. I currently have boyensen rad valves in my bike, I came across some VFORCE3 reeds cheap but when you hold them up to the light you can see through them, is this normal? Second, is this a good reed choice for my bike? This bike has a cool head, advanced 4*, LRD pipes, and no port work. Thanks Quote
06specialedition Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 Not sure of thats normal or not too see through them. I will say they are a great reed, I've always had good luck running them. I think they run well on a stock port as well as a ported shee. Quote
AKheathen Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 it's said that they can run decent with up to 1mm gaping. they close up when it's running. make sure there is no crap in there keeping them open, though. Quote
