bellracing2 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 history : the bike ran fine until I messed with the wiring harness and cut out all the tors crap to clean it up , and I taped up all the exposed ground connections real good . now for the question of the day ............ does the coil have 2 or 3 wires going to it ? I know of the orange and black spade style connectors , but is there a ground on the coil mounting bolt too ? I have the handle bar switch disconnected , the key switch is off the bike , and I even tried to hook up the cdi direct to the wires from the stator eliminating the harness mid section . any ideas ? tedd1 Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 All it takes for a banshee to run. If you don't have lights, you won't need the regulator or blue wires. Quote
