kpennepacker
Well I have decided to do away with the 34mm flatslides and pick up a set of Kehins. I keep hearing bad things about the Mikuni flatslides. My question is what to buy. I have been looking a at the 35mm air strykers or the 33mm Pwks. I am running the CPIs but I want to swap them out for some T-5s. I do more trail riding with the occasionly gravel pit, and I don't feel I am even hitting the range the pipe need. I am running charriot intakes modquad head 21cc domes a dune port and .08 cylinders. I am also runnig v-force 3 reeds and cages and a nology hotwires ignition. Which carbs will go with my setup the best? What plugs should I be running. i bought the hotwire setup and it came with Nologly spark plugs. I heard to go with the Ngk. Thanks for all the help. Judge1
Your setup is similar to mine and I use the 33pwks with no complaints. Easy to tune and to find jets etc... Edited November 2, 2010 by Judge1

I have the exact same up and I'm running keihin PWK 33 carbs and there perfect for trail riding just change your gearing.I installed 13\42 gearing and the CPI pipes rock. Well mine is a 4 mill that is ported but I had stock carbs and we made a few dyno pulls with it then we pulled the carbs off and but 34 pj on it and the 34's made a pretty big differnace as far as the power coming on sooner which is what I wanted out of it. It is nice for trails and tree shots. I would think with your setup 33 or 34 would work great for you. As far as plugs go have always ran ngk with no troubles. Pasi S.
I have 35 PWK´s in my stock stroke 64.5 (ported) motor and they work good. 33 or 35 PWK´s or 34 PJ´s should be fine. -Pasi S.
armyvet
its hard to beat stockers or some pwk 28mm for trails /general play riding>Stock carbs are good for a 70hp plus motor. Most people assume bigger is better, not always the case.
