Need to know trick of the trade

So I Am replaceing the rubber boots on my control arms and a arms. They are easy enough to get off, but putting them back on is harder then I thought. Dose any one know a way to get that ring back over the boot with out streching it out, or tearing the new boot ?

I found out the same thing. Use two or three small sraight screwdrivers. Use cuss words in every possible combination , hold your mouth just right , pray a little bit, slowly work them back on. Had I known how hard it was to get them back on I might have made different protector sleeves for B.J. when sandblast. Tie rods only got brush paint ,lol. Just work slowly , take your time ,if frustration gets high , take a break from it. JMHO, your results may vary.
