ok well i just installed the carb kits on my stock banshee carbs....but before i did it was running great and never had any trouble.

but now that i installed them i switched out the old air/fuel mix screws with the new ones from the kit.

but now it starts right up but when i go to rev it..it bogs down and after a while starts to drip gas out of the hose at the bottom of the float bowl.

i dont know whats wrong....unless i installed something wrong. please let me know i need help

Unless you already replaced the needle and seat combo I would check that out and adjust your floats.

something happened with the float/needle/seat assembly. check float height and operation, and clean out the needle/seat..

 

 

 

ok well thanks for the tip....but i took it to a mechanic today and it was back firing out of the right side and he said that the piston wasnt turning on and thats why it wasnt working rightt....so it might be the coil

i would suggest taking it to a mechanic that wont tell you the piston not turning on is your problem.wtf?lmfao.as said before,needle and seat will make your shit backfire and "keep your piston off"lol.

well, one side problems doesn not come from a bad coil. a bad coil would be both sides. a plug cap can go bad, and your flywheel can be out of true, from bad install, or improper removal, or something. you do, definately have a problem i mentioned, if the fuel is coming out of the over flow/drain tube, and you need to fix that first, before trying to diagnose a flooded cylinder....... now, if it's backfiring into the carb, then it would spit out of the carb and you could see by taking the filter, or air box off and stabbing the throttle. that would be a bad reed. there is normal amount of back spitting, but not enough to spit a lot of fuel out, just a little.
