rear strut ?

Is it better to mount a solid rear strut where the shock used to be or eliminate the lower linkage and mount straight to the swing arm?

Is there a diffrence?

they make no link swingarms its just hard to find em, imo, but it depends on wat ur doing, im all drag so if i dont find a no link, then im going to mount straight to the swingarm.

If you go back and forth from shock to strut, leave the link or get a no link swinger.

If you only run a strut, you can remove the link and go directly to the swinger.

 

The shock angle is just too great on link swinger without a link but it makes no difference with a strut.

Absolutely..

 

Just make sure to check the bolts often and/or install some grade 8 bolts. I have had both the top and bottom bolt that runs through the strut break (at different times). They only looked slightly bent, but the bottom one was cracked halfway and the top broke in two (at a later time) - I went to loosen it and I just pulled half the bolt right out of the strut; then the other half out of the other side of the strut. . Kinda scary; I'd just made a pass on it.
