Engine overheated, but my plugs are tan ? HELP !

Hi, here is my question : I was on the 3rd gear, climbing an hill, I've climbed this hill more than 100 times before. But this time, my right pipe have overheat and the color change... I've checked my plug, they are perfect (Light tan). I don't understand why this happen... my other cylinder was OK...Do you have any Ideas ?

probably. what were you doing running without a filter??? i understand if it was still in the shop and whatever. but ya i would clean it out

 

I dont run any of my bike with fuel filters and have never had a prob. I also use painter screens when im out at the dunes to help keep sand from falling/blowing in. If it can pass the filter in the tank then it deserves to get to the carbs.
