Hey guy, first off I would like to say hello :). I've been a long time Yamaha fan and just bought my first Banshee last night. Apparenty the engine is siezed but was missing the kick start, so I'll be doing a tear down later tonight to figure out exactly what the problem may be. The main reason why I made this thread was to ask one simple question. What, if any, rad cover mods are there out there? For a 2001, the Banshee looks rather boxy IMO and am familiar with body modifications. I was looking to get inspired by others works and was wondering what you guys may have done?

Thanks

welcome to BHQ!

when you say you're lookin for rad cover mods is that to improve cooling/air flow to the radiator or do you want to change the look (you mentioned the banshee being boxy)? the only air flow "mod" i've seen done is i think by a guy named dunny on here. he made some radiator shroud things like the 450's have that he bolted on to the stock radiator cover. if you are wanting to lose the "boxy" look the only thing i can think of to change that would be with fullbore plastic.

i think the fullbores look nice, but still like a banshee....if you're gonna "race cut" anyways. the craptor plastcs don't even look like either machine because of the base. you can clean it up with a nice jds customs grille, too....

I don't like them either, but to each their own.
